Hey there, my friends!!
I honestly don't know what "under the autumn moon" means,
but I do like the way it sounds (I'll google it).............
Apparently, I was really excited about Fall last year..................
and we celebrated with {pumpkin} cupcakes!!!!
and I decorated every flat surface - horizontal & vertical - in the public areas of our home..........
the fireplace mantel............
the kitchen bar............
the guest bathroom candelier...........
the bathroom vanity..........
even the back of the toilet!!!
Of course, the entryway.............
- and the front door!!!
It didn't end there, my friends!!
I hosted a girls' night soiree for a few of my favorite peeps,
so the decorating actually began in the front yard..........
and continued onto the back patio........
OH, but this year - NOT SO MUCH!!
This is it..................
pansies and mums in the original, black, plastic pots from Lowe's -
I did place them inside cute containers....
(the picnic basket below is actually one of my treasures from my recent road trip)
When I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it............
(and it was only $12)
LOVE the colors of the picnic basket!!
rickety, old Adirondack chairs my mom was going to throw away
(what???!!!! I rescued those babies!!)
and a couple of other treasures found recently.........
a wooden barrel and a metal bucket - perfect!!
No fall decorating has taken place inside the farmhouse this year and
No pumpkin cupcakes have been served!!
But I did cook chili for dinner last night, so I think it really is Fall here in my world!!
Happy Fall, my wonderful friends!!!
